Java Developer – Mumbai

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based backend applications.
• Develop RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards.
• Integrate applications with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and Agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product teams.
• Deploy applications using CI/CD pipelines and container technologies.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Core Java (Java 8/11/17+)
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices
• Experience with REST APIs
• Good understanding of Hibernate/JPA
• Knowledge of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Experience with Git and Maven/Gradle
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools
• Understanding of OOP, design patterns, and SDLC
• Experience with JUnit and unit testing

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Redis, Elasticsearch, or other caching/search technologies
• Agile/Scrum development experience

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (BE/BTech/MCA).
